The furniture at MINENOHANA is made by Mr. Hattanda. Solid cedar, with grain and colour that vary from piece to piece, takes oil finish well; sanded and painted with care, it becomes furniture that is a pleasure to touch and impossible to repeat. Finish two of the same pieces with the same oil and they still come out different — with depth, and with life in them.
